What Teachers and Students are Saying

It’s been a real gift for us to have this program while we’re together on zoom because physical movement is so important right now. It’s always important, of course, but I think we’re really understanding with distance learning how much the kids need to be moving their body… The day that we have Project Commotion it gets to be a really extended movement time and the kids are anxious for it and eager for it… I’ve been really impressed, actually, by how much they [the students] participate. I think, in general, a hundred percent of the students are up and moving their bodies during Project Commotion time which I cannot say for the rest of the day. You know, often during the day their cameras are off or they’re sort of sitting still while the rest of us are moving but during Project Commotion they are up and participating really enthusiastically.
