Spring Registration

A variety of after-school and weekend capoeira, creative movement, dance, and play-based classes designed to support children's development and  relationship-based education.

SPRING enrollment is OPEN

Spring session begins January 5 and runs through May 30.
Classes are $25/class, sliding scale rates available upon registration

  • Monday

    Teachers: Jose & Jess

    Gymfants
    Ages 0-3 & their caregivers
    4 - 4:45pm

    This family-child class focuses on finding joy and strength in relationships with our youngest children. Instructors guide families through free play and explorations that take inspriation from creative movement and dance. Come join other local families to sing, dance, wiggle, and play together!

    Family Dance
    Age 3-5 & their caregivers
    4 - 4:45pm

    Family dance facilitates connection and exploration between families and their children through creative dance. Using imaginative play, dance, and music concepts, instructors guide children and families through activities that support physical development, co-regulation, communication, and collaboration. The goal of Family Dance is to develop and deepen trust between caregivers and their children so they both can joyfully explore the PreK and Kindergarten years.


    Dance Foundations
    Ages 6-12
    5 - 6pm

    Dance Foundations prepares students to creatively express themselves through dance concepts used in a wide variety of dance styles and classes. Students work collaboratively with one another to build dance and art skills, create choreography, and develop storytelling projects. The curriculum is based on developing students' familiarity with the foundations of dance: body, action, space, energy, and time, preparing them for more specialized dance classes. Students are active partners in their learning, incorporating their interests, experiences, and ideas while focusing on social-emotional skills, gross motor development, and the rich development that occurs throughout childhood.

    Fitness, Sports, and Play
    Ages 6-9
    5:15 - 6 PM

    Taught by a combination of sports coaches, play-based teachers, and movement artists, Fitness, Sports, and More offers youth an exciting, collaborative class that explores a variety of movement styles and patterns. From cooperative problem solving to basic soccer skills and dance moves, this class supports children's physical development, self-regulation, and social emotional skills.

    Teen Conditioning
    Ages 13-18
    6 - 7 PM

    Teen Conditioning combines movement, music, and sports activities with strengths-based conditioning to promote healthy movement pattersn that will increse students' confidence, artistry, and gross motor skills. This class offers cooperative, game-based learning that enhances students' body awareness and supports their physical, social, and emotional wellness.

    PreK Creative Movement
    Ages 3-5
    4 - 4:45 PM

    Creative Movement classes are focused on play-based and imagination-based learning. Students will develop self-expression, body awareness, and self regulation through movement, music, storytelling, and dance activities.While instructors provide the framework for each class, students are encouraged to bring their interests, abilities, and curiosities about the world to co-create a one of a kind imaginative experience.

    Youth Creative Movement
    Ages 5-8
    5 - 6 PM

    Youth Creative Movement classes are focused on play-based and imagination-based learning. This class is designed to promote confidence, agency, and social-emotional development through movement challenges that invite students to test their physical skills, resourcefulness, and cooperation. Students are active partners in their learning and work with instructors to best respond to everyone's interests, inclinations, and abilities, creating an experience of mutual growth.

    Crianças Creative Movement & Capoeira
    Ages 3-5
    4 - 4:45 PM

    Capoeira Crianças and Creative Movement and invites children into a joyful and culturally rich movement experience that blends the dynamic Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira with play-based creative exploration. Through music, movement, imaginative play, and collaborative storytelling, students learn to express themselves, explore space, and build confidence. Children are active partners in their learning as they discover basic Capoeira skills, movements, and games alongside creative movement activities that nurture agency, curiosity, and self-expression. This integrated class supports physical development, coordination, and rhythm while also fostering social-emotional growth, teamwork, and a sense of community.

    Youth Capoeira & Fitness
    Ages 6 - 12
    5 - 6 PM

    This dynamic class integrates the fundamentals of the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira with game-based fitness, sports skills, and creative movement. Students will explore acrobatics, basic kicks, rhythm, and expressive movement alongside strength-building activities, cooperative problem solving, and sport-inspired challenges. Through developmentally appropriate progressions, youth strengthen coordination, body awareness, and healthy movement patterns while building confidence and artistry.

    10:30 - 11:15 AM
