Fall Session 1: August 16 - October 7, 2010
Fall session schedule is online here.
You man also download, fill out and return our Registration Form (English)
Enrollment is open and ongoing. Classes are open to all children and youth of all abilities. Class ratios are limited to ensure that each child receives individual attention during each class session and so that classes can be targeted towards children's specific needs. All students must submit a registration form, liability waiver, and intake form upon enrollment. Students with special needs are requested to schedule an intake/observation appointment so that our instructors can help in advising class selection. Enrollment is geared towards children's developmental stages rather than precise ages; please speak with one of our staff if you have questions about which class would be the best fit for your child
What's all the Commotion?
Project Commotion is a community space where children, families and educators are invited to learn and grow together through movement, sensory experiences, and play.
We offer classes that incorporate tumbling, music, play, dance, and martial arts as a means of fostering healthy development, self-awareness and self-expression. Private, semi-private and small group classes are available for children, and community workshops are offered for adults.
At Project Commotion, we see every child as a special individual. Class sizes are small to allow our instructors the time and space to connect with every child and every family, and so that we may structure our classes to meet the needs of participants.
Project Commotion is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization welcoming ALL children between the ages of 10 months to 18 years, and their families. We strive in particular to support underserved families of children with special needs, as well as caretakers and educators, through the development of physical, sensory, and self-awareness.
