Enrollment
Classes are open to children and youth of all abilities. Class sizes are small to ensure that each child receives individual attention.
New Students
New students must call or email to schedule an Intake Appointment or trial class.
To enroll, all students must submit a registration form, liability waiver, and intake form. Please keep in mind that enrollment is geared towards children’s developmental stages rather than precise ages; please speak with one of our staff if you have questions about which class would be the best fit for your child.
Students with special needs are requested to schedule an intake appointment, so that our instructors can develop a specialized curriculum.
Intake Appointments and Special Needs
Please read our Curricula/Approach to learn about who we serve.
What happens at an intake/observation session?
One of PC’s co-directors will conduct your intake session. First, we review your paperwork together, getting to know you and your child a little. Then, we observe your child as she plays and explores our studio, working with her at her own pace. This allows us to understand how your child relates to the environment, and to us. We may ask you to participate, or we may ask you to observe. Next we will discuss with you an appropriate starting point for your child, whether that be in private lessons or group classes. During this discussion, we invite you to share any additional information about your child, and ask any questions that you may have about our program and philosophy.
If you have specific questions about how our program can support your child’s needs, or just want to learn more about our special needs curriculum, please contact us. Keep in mind that we are a small business – we appreciate your patience if we are unable to respond to inquiries within 48 hours. Please feel free to follow-up.
Registration forms are available for download below. Please contact us by phone or email to request a copy of our Intake form.
