Jian Giannini
Jian Giannini began teaching at PC in 2010, leading classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age youth. In addition to his work at PC, Jian taught tumbling to children in Thailand, and has worked for several after-school programs in the Bay Area. He has studied Capoeira for 5 years, first with Mestre Amen in Los Angeles, and currently with Mestre Urubu. His background in movement includes the martial arts disciplines of Hap Kido and Kenpo. He is currently working towards a degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University.
Jessica Loman
Jessica is assisting with Capoeira classes for PC preschoolers. A former competitive gymnast, she began working with youth as a gymnastics summer camp coach in 2000. She received her B.A. from the University of Richmond, VA with studies in Rhetoric & Communication, Music and Arts Management. She has trained Capoeira with Mestre Amen, Mestre Panao, and Mestre Urubu of Capoeira Ijexá, and has taught basic Capoeira to youth in Indonesia and San Francisco.
