Adult Education and Community Support

Adults in our community need support in working with children with special needs and difficult behaviors. Project Commotion further fulfills its mission of helping children by serving as a foundation of support and information for parents, educators, and other professionals working with children, by providing training sessions, seminars, workshops, and hands-on experiences in movement. By helping adults to better understand the needs of the children in their lives and increasing the level of awareness throughout our community, Project Commotion brings about a vital change in the way that adults can support children's learning and development.

Project Commotion's Adult Education Program

Project Commotion's Adult Education Program offers monthly workshops targeted towards parents, caretakers, educators, professionals, and others working with children, presented by professionals in areas includingchild development, brain development, medicine, movement, and body awareness discipines and methods. Our aim is to bring adults more in touch with theit physical, sensory, and emotional selves, and to promote better understanding of how children live and grow in our community.

All workshops take place at Project Commotion.
