Workshop Description
Adults in our community need support in working with children with special needs and difficult behaviors. Project Commotion further fulfills its mission of helping children by serving as a foundation of support and information for parents, educators, and other professionals working with children, by providing training sessions, seminars, workshops, and hands-on experiences in movement. By helping adults to better understand the needs of the children in their lives and increasing the level of awareness throughout our community, Project Commotion brings about a vital change in the way that adults can support children's learning and development.
Adult Education Groups
Project Commotion hosts monthly Adult Education Groups, open to parents, educators, and others working with children, presented by professionals in areas including child development, brain development, physical and occupational therapy, medicine, and movement and body awareness disciplines and methods. Adult Ed Groups are free to participants, made possible by the Burt Family Foundations and host site AGUILAS.
