Infant/Toddler Classes
PC Movement Classes focus on developing physical and sensory awareness through movement, tumbling, and sensory activities. All movement classes are 50 minutes unless otherwise noted. Classes are led by our co-directors and PC trained staff.

Roly Polys Movement Lab (ages 0 – 12 months) is a class for infants and their parents/caretaker. Developmentally-appropriate toys and movement space will be set up for the little ones. Adults will interact, observe, and learn about infant brain- and gross-motor development, and how to support well-organized physical awareness through play and gentle touch.
Little Ants (ages 9 months - 30 months) Open Gym 1 ½ hour open gym for children, requires parent/caretaker participation. PC Instructor supervises safe play environment, offers skill suggestions and leads short group activities. The curriculum is determined by the children who attend and is child-centered. Students can drop in for any part of the 1 ½ hour class sessions. Open Gym passes available for 4 or 8 class packages. Students may come to any Roly Poly/Little Ants class scheduled throughout the session. Schedules are subject to change from one session to the next.

Toddler/PreK Classes
Ladybugs (ages 2 ½ - 4 yrs) and Crickets (ages 4 - 6 yrs) combines free exploration with gross motor and sensory activities, through one-on-one work with a PC-trained instructor. Parents/caretakers may be requested to participate in class activities, so please dress appropriately and be ready to move!
Martial Arts classes at PC include Capoeira and Karate classes run in collaboration with Capoeira Ijexá and Okinawan Karate Club of San Francisco*. Classes are run by advanced or graduated students and assisted by intermediate level adult students.
Capoeira
PreK classes teach the basics of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art, within the context of movement, body awareness, dance, tumbling, and free exploration.
Parent & PreK Capoeira (ages 2 ½ – 5) Class for Parents/Caretakers AND their children. Parents AND children should dress appropriately for class, in sweatpants or Capoeira pants and t-shirt, with bare feet.
Capoeira Crianças and Capoeira Niños (niños taught in Spanish) (ages 3 ½ – 5) Developmentally appropriate introduction to Capoeira for preschool-age children. Classes incorporate music, rhythm, creative movement, and introduction to Capoeira movements and partner work, along with games and free play.
NEW! Guelaguetza Dance
Guelaguetza dance class includes the exploration of traditional dances from the southern region of Mexico (Oaxaca). Young children will develop body awareness, coordination and rhythm, while older students will begin to explore technique of movements and steps. Guelaguetza classes are as follows:
¡Frijoles Saltarines! (Jumping Beans!) is for children ages 18 months – 4 years and their parents. Class is taught in Spanish.
Orugas (Caterpillars) is for children ages 4 – 6 years. Orugas is taught in Spanish, Caterpillars is taught in English.
